The warmer weather means that many shops are not using energy for heating or cooling and sensibly opening their doors for better ventilation. Meanwhile much is going on behind the scenes with planning for the hot summer and inevitable air con, and for the start of next winter. The attention of retailers to the door/energy issue always wanders at this time of year, so don't be surprised by the lull. Or by attention coming back with a bang later in the year. The campaign has very much not gone to sleep.
